In our location Safe Haven in Oegstgeest, you can imagine yourself in the 1001 night atmosphere in our chillout area, in the magic of our beautiful dance hall and
the warmth of a home. Feel welcome to dance with us on the magical sounds of Djay Tobi, who always surprises us with great music that takes you on a
journey.
We start the evening with a Tantric Dance workshop facilitated by founder Rakesh Mijling & his partner Elfriede. After the workshop a magical Ecstatic Dance set with Djay Tobi.
Resident Djay Tobi surprises every time with his diversity in music. He loves mystical sounds, deep underground bass tones, but also light & magical music. From beginning till end he knows how to take you along on a journey, in yourself,
but also in connection with others. Let yourself be surprised (again)!
Tantric Dance is about learning to dance in surrender (letting yourself be led) and on the other hand taking the lead in the dance. This alternation of roles opens up a whole new consciousness within you. Are you allowed to play,
are you allowed to explore in movements? Especially if you find it difficult to surrender, this form is the ultimate way to practice. When you are led by someone else, you are wearing a blindfold. So that you can feel and experience what it is
like to let go of control within the safety of the field. If you lead, you guide the other person in movements to places they may have never been before. Expanding your comfort zone, expanding your consciousness. A playful, open and loving way
to connect with yourself and connect. Everything with clothes on.
We have some house rules:
We dance barefoot, without words, in our own energy (without drugs/alcohol/coffee) and with respect for each other. Clothes stay on. No photos/films/
no phones in the ballroom.
Bring your own lockable bottle for the dancefloor (no cups in the dance space). There is free herbal tea and water with natural flavors.
The entire location is shoe-free.

Bus stop in front of the door; Parking space diagonally opposite the building on the other side of the street or in the area (free); do not park on the grounds of GGZ Rivierlanden. Keep to the Rhijngeest Forest Area Parking Lot.
